ASRock Industrial iBOX-1215UE Intel Core i3-1215UE Fanless Industrial NUC with Dual 2.5GbE and RS232

Signage and kiosk estates are often refreshed in waves, and each new site needs the same mounting, cabling and software image as the last. A range that shares one enclosure across Core i3, i5 and i7 makes that easier. The ASRock Industrial iBOX-1215UE is the Core i3 fanless industrial PC in the iBOX 1200 range, the 12th Gen entry point to that shared design.

It runs an Intel Core i3-1215UE, a 12th Gen Alder Lake-P processor with two Performance cores and four Efficient cores, and Intel UHD Graphics. Two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB in dual channel. The hybrid core layout lets background tasks such as logging or content sync run on Efficient cores while the main application keeps the Performance cores.

Networking is two Intel I225LM 2.5GbE ports. Display output covers HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4a and two USB-C ports with DP 1.4a, for four screens at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, two USB 2.0 and a rear RS-232 COM port connect peripherals. Storage is an M.2 Key M socket with PCIe Gen4 x4 for an NVMe SSD plus a SATA3 port, and an M.2 Key E slot with CNVi takes Wi-Fi. The DC jack accepts 12 to 19 V, and a 19 V, 90 W adapter is included.

The iBOX-1215UE is a fanless industrial PC with no moving parts, rated from 0 to 40 °C, CE and FCC Class A compliant and fitted with TPM 2.0. It supports Windows 10 and 11. A wall mount kit is supplied, VESA mounting is supported and DIN rail mounting is listed by request. The iBOX-1245UE adds a Core i5 with Iris Xe graphics and vPro.
