ASRock Industrial IMB-A1002 AMD Ryzen 9000 and EPYC 4005 AM5 Mini-ITX Motherboard with B650, Quad Display and Dual GbE

Some embedded projects need desktop-socket processing in a small enclosure, plus a cellular link and a built-in panel, without moving to a larger board. The ASRock Industrial IMB-A1002 is an AM5 Mini-ITX motherboard on the AMD B650 chipset that covers those three needs, and it runs from a standard ATX power supply.

The socketed IMB-A1002 supports AMD EPYC 4005 and Ryzen 9000/7000 desktop processors up to 65 W, such as the EPYC 4545P, 4465P, 4345P and 4245P or the Ryzen 9700X and 9600X, and we fit the CPU to order. Two Long-DIMM sockets take dual channel DDR5 5200 up to 96 GB, and RDNA 2 integrated graphics drive the display outputs. Windows 11 and Linux are supported.

Three DisplayPort 1.2 outputs with DP++ sit on the rear panel, and an internal eDP 1.4b connector adds a fourth display for a built-in panel. Networking is two Gigabit LAN ports on Realtek RTL8111H controllers. Six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports sit at the rear, with three USB 2.0 inside on a header and a vertical Type-A connector, and two internal COM ports handle RS-232/422/485. A PCIe x16 Gen5 slot takes an add-in card. Storage is an M.2 M key socket on PCIe Gen4 x4 or SATA plus two SATA3 ports, an M.2 E key takes an optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and an M.2 B key with a SIM slot takes an optional 4G or 5G module.

Power comes from a 24+4-pin ATX connector with AT and ATX power-on modes. The board is rated from -20 °C to 60 °C operating and -40 °C to 85 °C in storage, with an onboard TPM 2.0 chip, a watchdog timer and CE and FCC marks. We supply the IMB-A1002 configured and tested, with the CPU, memory, storage, the OS image and any wireless modules fitted. The IMB-A1003 moves to SO-DIMM ECC memory and 12 to 28 V DC input, and the IMB-A1302 steps up to Micro-ATX with five LAN ports.
