ASRock Industrial IMB-A1003 AMD EPYC 4005 and Ryzen 9000 AM5 Mini-ITX Motherboard with ECC and 12-28V DC Input

Desktop-socket processors usually mean an ATX power supply, which is awkward in a DC-powered cabinet or sealed enclosure. The ASRock Industrial IMB-A1003 is an AM5 Mini-ITX motherboard that takes 12 to 28 V DC directly, so a socketed AMD EPYC or Ryzen processor can run from the same DC rail as the rest of the equipment.

The socketed IMB-A1003 supports AMD EPYC 4005 and Ryzen 9000/7000 desktop processors up to 65 W on the AMD B650 chipset, such as the EPYC 4545P, 4465P, 4345P and 4245P or the Ryzen 9700X and 9600X, and we fit the CPU to order. Two SO-DIMM sockets take dual channel DDR5 5600 in ECC or non-ECC form up to 96 GB, with ECC support depending on the CPU. RDNA 2 integrated graphics drive the outputs, and Windows 11 and Linux are supported.

Four DisplayPort 1.2 outputs with DP++ on the rear panel support up to four displays at up to 4K and 60 Hz. Networking is two Gigabit LAN ports on Realtek RTL8111H controllers. USB covers four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports at the rear, with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 inside. Two internal COM ports can be set by jumper for RS-232/422/485, TTL or ccTalk. A PCIe x16 Gen5 slot takes an add-in card, and storage is an M.2 M key on PCIe Gen4 x4 plus two SATA3 ports, with an M.2 E key for an optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module.

Power is 12 to 28 V DC through a four-pin wafer or screw-type DC jack, with AT and ATX power-on modes. The board is rated from -20 °C to 60 °C operating and -40 °C to 85 °C in storage, with an onboard TPM 2.0 chip, a watchdog timer and CE and FCC marks. We supply the IMB-A1003 configured and tested, with the CPU, memory, storage and the OS image fitted. The IMB-A1002 runs from an ATX supply and adds an M.2 B key for 4G or 5G, and the IMB-A8000P pairs the same DC input with a soldered Ryzen 7 8845HS.
