Avalue ARC-1500 15″ PCAP Industrial Touch Monitor with 2000:1 XGA LCD and Front IP65 Bezel

Many control rooms and machine panels still run HMI software drawn for a 4:3 screen, and moving to a larger display should not mean redrawing every page. The ARC-1500 is Avalue’s 15 inch industrial touch monitor for those installs, with a 4:3 XGA LCD, 10-point PCAP touch and an IP65 front panel. It is a monitor only, driven by the PC or controller already in the cabinet.

The panel runs at 1024 x 768 with an LED backlight, 300 nits, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 16 ms response and 176° viewing angles horizontally and vertically. The high contrast keeps dark process graphics and alarm colours distinct. The projected capacitive touch layer supports up to ten touch points with 89% light transmission, and OSD keys sit on the rear cover away from the operator.

Inputs are one HDMI 1.4a and one DisplayPort 1.2 input, both with HDCP 1.3, plus a 15-pin VGA input. Touch connects to the host over USB Type-B, and two 5 W speakers are built in. An optional bi-directional Wi-Fi 6 module can carry the image and USB touch signal where cabling is awkward. The ARC-1200 offers the same 4:3 format at 12.1 inches with a 600 nit panel, and the ARC-15W00 gives a 15.6 inch 16:9 widescreen for newer layouts.

Power is 12 V DC through a DC jack, with an optional 9 to 36 V DC Phoenix input, and a 100 to 240 V AC 60 W adapter is supplied. The fanless monitor operates from -10 to 50 °C as standard, with -20 to 70 °C available as an option, at up to 95% humidity at 40 °C, non-condensing. It is shock-tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 at 20 G and vibration-tested to IEC 60068-2-64 at 1.5 Grms from 5 to 500 Hz, and it carries CE and FCC Class A marks. It measures 350 x 274.5 x 63.5 mm and weighs 3.7 kg, with a panel mount kit included and wall, stand or 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting as alternatives.
