AVerMedia CL314H1 PCIe Quad HDMI Capture Card with 4K30 Inputs

Medical imaging carts, multi-camera inspection cells and recording systems often need several HDMI sources captured in one PC without filling every slot. The AVerMedia CL314H1 handles that on one low-profile card with four HDMI 1.4a inputs, and AVerMedia notes that its 10-bit capture is especially useful in medical imaging applications. For one 4K60 source, the CL511HN is the single-input HDMI 2.0 card, and the CL311-M2 covers one HDMI source alongside analogue inputs.

Each input accepts up to 4096 x 2160 at 30 fps. The CL314H1 records at that resolution on two channels at once, or at 1920 x 1080 and 60 fps on all four channels. Capture runs at 8-bit or 10-bit, with formats spanning YUV 4:4:4 (IYU2, AYUV, V410, Y410), YUV 4:2:2 (YUY2, YUYV, UYVY, V210, Y210), YUV 4:2:0 (I420, NV12, YV12) and RGB565, RGB555, RGB24, RGB32 and ARGB, so the stream can match what the downstream software expects.

Audio arrives embedded in each HDMI signal as PCM at 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz. The card uses a PCIe Gen2 x4 interface in a low-profile form factor, with the smaller bracket included, and multi-card operation is supported where a system needs more than four channels. AVerMedia provides drivers for Windows and for Linux from kernel 2.6.14, which suits both packaged capture software and custom Linux pipelines.

The CL314H1 is rated from 0 °C to 50 °C at 5% to 80% RH and carries FCC and CE marks.
