D137 Overview
Unmanned aircraft and radar heads leave little room for a computer, and every connector has to earn its place. The AVerMedia D137 is a Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano rugged carrier board built as a stacking two-board design, which AVerMedia designs for defence-grade unmanned aircraft, radar and other edge systems. Its compact assembly suits payloads where a boxed PC will not fit.
The D137 takes a Jetson Orin NX 16GB or 8GB or Orin Nano 8GB or 4GB module. Each of its two camera inputs switches by DIP switch between 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 on 22-pin FPC and GMSL2 on FAKRA-Z, so one board can serve short-run sensors or longer coax runs. An M.2 M-key 2230 slot takes an NVMe SSD, and AVerMedia supports JetPack 7.2.1 onward on Ubuntu 24.04. For eight GMSL2 cameras in a sealed box, see the D135OXB-16G-004.
Connections use GH1.25 wafers: two GbE ports, four UARTs, CAN with a 120-ohm termination switch, two SPI, four PWM, two I2C and eight GPIO for controllers and sensors. Three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports and a Micro HDMI output at 1080p cover peripherals and a local display. Power, recovery and suspend buttons sit on board, with an RTC battery.
Power comes in at 12 V to 50 V DC on an XT30 connector, and the D137 is rated from -10 °C to 60 °C at board level, with a four-pin fan header for the cooling you design in. AVerMedia lists CE, FCC and VCCI, and the board is RoHS 2 compliant. For a single-board carrier with RJ45, HDMI and a -40 °C to 85 °C rating, see the D131S-001. We supply the D137 with the Jetson module fitted, NVMe storage installed and JetPack flashed, tested before it ships.
