D331ATB Overview
Robots and vehicles running Jetson Thor workloads need a finished box with the networking, motor buses and power handling already designed in. The AVerMedia D331ATB is the box PC in the D331 series, built on the D331 carrier board with an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor module, a SOM fan and two chassis fans. For a Thor carrier to build into your own design, the D333 offers 4x 25GbE on QSFP28.
The D331ATB takes a Jetson T5000 module with 128GB or a T4000 module with 64GB, flashed with JetPack 7 on Ubuntu 24.04. A 120-pin connector takes a GMSL camera board, and AVerMedia’s ordering options add an eight-port GMSL board, an eight-port PoE board or an ERMI RMII/NCSI out-of-band board. Two HDMI 2.0 ports drive displays at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz, and a TPM 2.0 chip is on board.
The QSFP28 cage carries four 10GbE links with T5000 or three with T4000, next to two GbE RJ45 ports, one with NCSI out-of-band access. An M.2 E-key 2230 socket takes optional Wi-Fi 6, an M.2 B-key 3042/3052 socket with two SIM slots takes optional 4G or 5G, and an mPCIe slot takes an optional dual-RTK GNSS module. Storage is two M.2 M-key 2280 NVMe sockets at PCIe Gen4 x4 and Gen4 x2. Four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, mic-in and line-out jacks, four CAN-FD channels with one isolated to 3 kV, an RS232/422/485 DB9 port and four digital inputs and outputs complete the I/O.
Power is 9-36 V DC at 90-180 W on a terminal block, with ACC ignition control and AT/ATX mode selection. The box is rated from -25 °C to 60 °C operating, or -25 °C to 50 °C with the PoE board, and AVerMedia supplies a 240 W adapter, or 360 W with the PoE board. We supply the D331ATB with the module fitted, JetPack flashed, storage installed and any optional 4G/5G, Wi-Fi or GNSS module and antennas fitted, then tested before it ships.
