D333 Overview
Humanoid robots and AMRs fuse camera, lidar and motor data in real time, so the carrier needs fast networking, fast storage and CAN-FD close to the module. The AVerMedia D333 is a carrier board for NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 and T4000 modules that AVerMedia designed for real-time sensor fusion and low-latency motion control. Where cellular, dual HDMI or a finished box suit the project, the D331 carrier and the D331ATB box PC are the closer fit.
The D333 takes a Jetson T5000 or T4000 module, and we fit the module and flash JetPack 7 on Ubuntu 24.04 before it ships. A 120-pin connector takes a GMSL camera board for multi-camera perception, HDMI 2.0 drives a display at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz, and a TPM 2.0 chip is on board. Out-of-band access is supported over RMII and NCSI.
The QSFP28 cage carries four 25GbE links, next to two GbE RJ45 ports, one with NCSI out-of-band access. Storage is one M.2 M-key 2280 NVMe socket at PCIe Gen5 x4, and an M.2 E-key 2230 socket takes optional Wi-Fi 6, with optional GNSS through an internal USB header and daughter board. There is no M.2 B-key socket for cellular. USB covers a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C host port, a Type-C port for BSP install and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. Two 20-pin headers carry I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, GPIO/PWM and four CAN-FD channels, and a 40-pin coaxial PCIe connector takes an optional eight-port PoE or USB board.
Power is 12-36 V DC on an ATX 6-pin input, with a SOM fan header for module cooling. The board is rated from -40 °C to 85 °C operating, and AVerMedia’s package includes an adapter and two GPIO boards. We supply the D333 with the module and cooling fitted, JetPack flashed, storage installed and any optional Wi-Fi or GNSS module and antennas fitted, then tested before it ships.
