Axiomtek AIE100A-ONX-16GB NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB Edge AI Computer with 100 TOPS and PoE

Analytics at a junction, a station concourse or a depot gate rarely stays at one camera and one model for long. Once a second stream or a larger model arrives, an entry module runs short of memory first. The AIE100A-ONX-16GB is the 16GB build of the Axiomtek AIE100A-ONX series, a fanless edge AI computer that brings Jetson Orin NX 16GB performance to a box under 35 mm tall.

The NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB combines an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, with 2MB of L2 and 4MB of L3 cache, and a 1024-core Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores. With 16GB of 128-bit LPDDR5, Axiomtek rates the module at 100 TOPS. That capacity suits several detection streams, tracking across cameras or a larger segmentation model, and the edge AI computer runs Ubuntu 20.04 or later with the NVIDIA JetPack tools.

Networking pairs a GbE port from the module with an Intel I210-IT port that supplies up to 15 W of PoE, so one camera draws power from the box while the other port carries the uplink or a second camera through a switch. HDMI 2.0 with 4K support, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 2.0 port cover local set-up. The AIE100A-ONX-16GB boots from an M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe SSD, and a full-size Mini Card slot, SIM socket and two SMA connectors take LTE or Wi-Fi.

The AIE100A-ONX-16GB runs fanless from -30 to 50 °C on a 12 V DC screw-type input, in a 148.6 x 129.8 x 34.6 mm IP40 aluminium and steel housing at 1 kg, with an optional IP42 cover kit, 3 Grms vibration endurance and CE and FCC Class A marking.
