Axiomtek UST210-83K-FL Intel Atom x5-E3940 Fanless Vehicle Computers with 4x GbE and E-Mark

Vehicle systems rarely stop at one device. A bus might carry four cameras, a passenger Wi-Fi router, a driver display and a ticket validator, all needing a network port and often power. The Axiomtek UST210-83K-FL series answers with vehicle computers that keep a slim DIN-rail format but provide four GbE ports, with PoE builds that power cameras directly.

Every UST210-83K-FL uses the Intel Atom x5-E3940, a quad-core Apollo Lake processor at 1.6 GHz with a 9.5 W TDP, and one DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM slot taking up to 8GB, with TPM 2.0 on board. Four Intel I210-AT GbE ports, HDMI up to 1920 x 1080, two USB 3.0 ports and a DB9 8-bit programmable DIO form the common I/O. Storage takes an internal 2.5 inch SATA drive and an mSATA module, and a full-size Mini Card slot with SIM socket takes LTE. Power is a 12 or 24 V DC terminal block with smart ignition and ISO 7637-2 pulse protection.

Four models cover two choices, so a buyer picks the build that matches the vehicle rather than adding external adapters. On serial and CAN, the UST210-83K-FL-E3940-2COM-TVDC carries two RS-232/422/485 ports, while the UST210-83K-FL-E3940-CANCOM-TVDC carries one CAN 2.0 A/B port and one serial port. On power over Ethernet, the UST210-83K-FL-E3940-4POE-2COM-TVDC and UST210-83K-FL-E3940-4POE-CANCOM-TVDC turn all four GbE ports into PoE outputs at up to 30 W each under 802.3at, in a wider 67 mm housing.

All UST210-83K-FL vehicle computers run fanless from -40 to 70 °C with wide-temperature peripherals and carry CE, FCC Class A and E-Mark (E24) certification under ECE-R10. They are tested to 3 Grms with mSATA and SSD and to MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6C-VI Category 4, support Windows 10 and Linux, and ship with a DIN-rail kit and wall bracket. Axiomtek notes they also accept 9 to 36 V DC for general-purpose use. Typical deployments include bus and coach camera recording, passenger Wi-Fi gateways, refuse and utility vehicle telematics and depot equipment. Because all four models share the same processor, memory, storage, mounting and power design, a fleet can standardise on the series and choose PoE and CAN per vehicle type without retraining installers or changing software images.
