DFI GHF51-BN-46R11 AMD Ryzen Embedded R1102G Femto-ITX Embedded Board with 4GB DDR4 Memory and 64GB eMMC

In a sealed enclosure every watt the board uses ends up as heat that has to leave through the walls, and a small supply sets its own limit. The GHF51-BN-46R11 is the lowest-power build in the DFI GHF51 series, a 1.8″ Femto-ITX embedded board that suits data loggers, protocol converters and simple signage players where light workloads meet a tight thermal budget.

Its AMD Ryzen Embedded R1102G runs at 1.2 GHz with a 6 W TDP, half that of the R1505G and R1606G builds. AMD Radeon Vega graphics with three compute units still decode H.265 and VP9 in hardware, so video playback stays light on the processor. Memory is 4 GB of single-channel DDR4 at 2400 MHz soldered to the board, and 64 GB of eMMC stores the operating system, logs and application. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit and Linux are supported, with a firmware TPM 2.0.

One GbE port on an Intel I211AT controller connects to the site network, and a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port takes a sensor interface, camera or storage. Two HDMI 1.4b outputs run at up to 4096 x 2160 at 24 Hz for a local screen. The full-size mini PCIe socket can take a Wi-Fi module, and an 8-bit DIO header reads contacts and switches alarms or relays.

The GHF51-BN-46R11 runs from 12 V DC on a terminal block and cools passively over an operating range of 0 to 60 °C, with CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance. For more processing, the GHF51-BN-46R13 runs the R1305G at 1.5 GHz and 10 W, and the GHF51-BN-46R15 steps up to 2.4 GHz at 12 W.
