Many factory vision and analytics tasks need AGX Orin class AI without the largest memory configuration. Forecr builds the DSBOX-AGX-AA for that brief: a fanless industrial AI computer in the DSBOX-AGX series, built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB and housed in a compact 160 x 110 x 65 mm enclosure weighing 1340 g.
The Jetson AGX Orin 32GB module carries 32 GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory and runs JetPack 5.x (5.0.2 and 5.1) on Ubuntu Linux 20.04. For single-model inspection, object detection or sensor analytics, that memory tier holds the model and its pre-processing on one unit, while the standard JetPack toolchain keeps development consistent with other Jetson projects built on the same JetPack 5 release.
The DSBOX-AGX-AA connects through one Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, one CAN Bus port, a software-configurable RS-232/422/485 port and 2-in/3-out digital I/O. One HDMI 2.0 output supports displays up to 3840 x 2160, and two USB-C ports handle debug and recovery. Storage pairs 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash and a MicroSD slot with an M.2 Key-M 2280 socket for an NVMe SSD, and an M.2 Key-B socket with SIM slot takes a WiFi, LTE or 5G module. Input power is 12-30 VDC.
Forecr rates the DSBOX-AGX-AA for ambient temperatures from -25°C to +85°C, and fanless construction suits sealed cabinets, mining equipment and energy sites. For transportation and manufacturing lines this industrial AI computer shares its I/O with the 64GB DSBOX-AGX-AB, so a project can move up a memory tier later without rewiring the cabinet or changing the software image.
