Forecr DSBOARD-AGX NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial Carrier Boards

Multi-camera robots and inspection cells need AGX Orin compute in a footprint small enough to sit beside the sensors, with the industrial I/O wired straight onto the board rather than through a breakout. The Forecr DSBOARD-AGX series answers that with a 100 x 100 mm industrial carrier board for the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB and 64GB modules, rated from -25 to +85 °C.

Camera input runs through one 120-pin Samtec camera connector that carries the module’s CSI lanes for up to six CSI cameras through an adapter board. Forecr sells a six-channel MIPI CSI-2 adapter with FPC connectors, an eight-channel GMSL2 board on locking MMCX connectors and a six-channel analogue video board for AGX systems, so GMSL2 cameras come through an add-on board rather than the carrier itself. Alongside the cameras, the DSBOARD-AGX carries a Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0 at 3840 x 2160, 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, an M.2 Key-M 2280 slot for a PCIe x4 NVMe SSD, a microSD slot and an M.2 Key-B 3042 socket with nano-SIM for LTE or 5G. A Samtec high-speed connector brings out PCIe x4 and an XFI lane for 10G Ethernet expansion.

The range has three variants. The DSBOARD-AGX-AA is the board on its own, for teams that source the module separately or need to choose the memory tier later. The DSBOARD-AGX-AB ships with the Jetson AGX Orin 32GB module at 200 TOPS, and the DSBOARD-AGX-AC ships with the 64GB module at 275 TOPS for larger models and more concurrent streams.

Field wiring lands on a 14-pin pluggable terminal that carries the CAN bus, a software-configurable RS232/422/485 port, two digital inputs and three digital outputs, with extra UART, SPI and I2C on a separate header. Power comes in at 12-30 V DC on a 4-pin pluggable terminal, and an 11 V or 5 V fan header supports the active cooling an AGX Orin module needs. Forecr lists Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 with JetPack 5.x and 6.x for the DSBOARD-AGX carrier boards, which typically go into robotics, automation and surveillance systems where a compact board and a wide DC input matter.
