Forecr DSBOARD-AGX-AA NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial Carrier Board, Supplied Without Module, with Six-Camera MIPI CSI-2

The DSBOARD-AGX-AA is the board-only option in the Forecr DSBOARD-AGX series: the industrial carrier board without a Jetson module, ready for an AGX Orin 32GB or 64GB. It suits teams that source the module separately or fix the memory tier late, and still brings six-camera MIPI CSI-2, GbE, CAN and a 12-30 V DC input.

  • Board Only, No Module: Supplied without a Jetson module, so you can fit an AGX Orin 32GB or 64GB to suit the workload and budget.
  • Six-Camera MIPI CSI-2: A 120-pin Samtec camera connector supports six CSI cameras through an adapter board; GMSL2 needs Forecr’s add-on board.
  • CAN, Serial and DIO on One Terminal: CAN bus, RS232/422/485, two digital inputs and three digital outputs share one 14-pin pluggable terminal.
  • NVMe, eMMC and Cellular: 64 GB eMMC 5.1, an M.2 Key-M 2280 PCIe x4 slot, microSD, plus an M.2 Key-B socket with nano-SIM for LTE or 5G.
  • 12-30 V DC, -25 to +85 °C: Wide DC input on a 4-pin pluggable terminal and a -25 to +85 °C rating on a 100 x 100 mm board.

DSBOARD-AGX-AA Overview

Some projects need the carrier board in hand before the module is chosen: the enclosure, cabling and camera layout can be proven while the team settles on a memory tier. The DSBOARD-AGX-AA is the board-only option in the Forecr DSBOARD-AGX series, an industrial carrier board for the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin supplied without a module.

It accepts the AGX Orin 32GB module, which delivers 200 TOPS, or the AGX Orin 64GB at 275 TOPS. The same board ships with each module fitted as the DSBOARD-AGX-AB and DSBOARD-AGX-AC, so moving from the DSBOARD-AGX-AA to a fitted build changes nothing on the carrier. Cameras connect through one 120-pin Samtec camera connector that supports six CSI cameras via an adapter board. GMSL2 is not on the carrier: Forecr sells an eight-channel GMSL2 add-on board for AGX systems, alongside six-channel MIPI CSI-2 and analogue video boards.

On the DSBOARD-AGX-AA, field wiring lands on a 14-pin pluggable terminal carrying the CAN bus, a software-configurable RS232/422/485 port, two digital inputs and three digital outputs. Storage combines 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 with an M.2 Key-M 2280 slot for a PCIe x4 NVMe SSD and a microSD slot, and an M.2 Key-B 3042 socket with nano-SIM takes an LTE or 5G modem. Display and data run over HDMI 2.0, one Gigabit Ethernet port and two USB 3.1 Type-A ports.

Power comes in at 12-30 V DC on a 4-pin pluggable terminal, the board is rated from -25 to +85 °C, and the fan header runs at 11 V or 5 V for the cooling an AGX Orin module needs. Forecr lists Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 with JetPack 5.x and 6.x. The DSBOARD-AGX-AA keeps those choices open on a 100 x 100 mm board that typically goes into robotics, automation and multi-camera inspection.
