Agricultural machinery, robotics cells and production lines need edge AI that talks to CAN networks and serial devices as readily as it runs a vision model. Forecr builds the DSBOX-XV2-AA for that role: a fanless industrial PC in the DSBOX-XV2 series built on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier 32GB, in a 160 x 110 x 95 mm enclosure weighing 1340 g.
The AGX Xavier module pairs an NVIDIA Volta GPU with 512 CUDA cores and an eight-core ARM64 CPU for 32 TOPS of AI performance, backed by 32 GB of 256-bit LPDDR4x memory. That suits machine learning, computer vision and AI workloads that run one main model per unit. The DSBOX-XV2-AA supports Ubuntu Linux 18.04 and 20.04 with JetPack 4.x and 5.x releases.
Industrial I/O covers one CAN Bus port, a software-configurable RS-232/422/485 port, two digital inputs and three digital outputs, alongside one Gigabit Ethernet port and two USB 3.1 Type-A ports. A single HDMI 2.0 output drives displays up to 3840 x 2160, and two Type-C ports handle debug and recovery. Storage pairs 32 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash and a MicroSD slot with an M.2 Key-M socket for an NVMe SSD, while an M.2 Key-E socket takes a WiFi or Bluetooth module. Power comes from an 18-30 VDC input.
Forecr houses the DSBOX-XV2-AA in an aluminium enclosure for heat dissipation and protection against dust, shock and vibration, with an extended temperature range from -25°C for 24/7 operation. This fanless industrial PC suits transportation, security and smart city projects as well as factory work. When larger models are planned, the DSBOX-XV2-AB doubles memory to 64 GB in the same enclosure.
