Larger vision models, transformer networks and many camera streams at once run out of memory before they run out of compute. The MILBOARD-AGXMAX-64GB answers that with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB fitted to the Forecr MILBOARD-AGXMAX military-grade carrier board, the highest AGX Orin tier at 275 TOPS.

The 64GB module delivers 275 TOPS from a 2048-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores and a 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, with 64 GB of 256-bit memory to hold several models and their camera buffers at once. For lighter workloads, the MILBOARD-AGXMAX-32GB fits the 32GB module at 200 TOPS, and the MILBOARD-AGXMAX-IND fits the Industrial module where the temperature range matters more than peak TOPS.

On the MILBOARD-AGXMAX-64GB, one 10G Ethernet port and three Gigabit Ethernet ports share a locking Samtec connector, and the field I/O is isolated: four software-configurable RS-232/422 ports, two CAN FD ports and eight digital I/O lines at 3.3 V level. An HDMI 2.0 output, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a USB 2.0 serial console complete the interfaces. Cameras use a 120-pin Samtec expansion slot for up to 4x 4-lane or 6x 2-lane MIPI CSI, with GMSL2, HD-SDI and analogue video as add-on options rather than connectors on the board. Storage is 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, two M.2 Key-M 2280 NVMe slots at PCIe Gen4 x4 and a full-size SD card slot.

Power is 12-36 V DC with a 28 V nominal input, and the 150 x 140 mm board is rated from -40 to +85 °C, with a TPM 2.0 chip, a 6-axis IMU, a temperature sensor and an RTC rated for over ten years. Forecr lists Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 with JetPack 5.x and 6.x. The MILBOARD-AGXMAX-64GB suits mission computers, unmanned vehicles and airborne payloads where the 64GB memory tier sets the requirement.
