Forecr MILBOARD-THR-T4000 NVIDIA Jetson T4000 Military-Grade Rugged Carrier Board with Quad 10GbE and PCIe Gen5 NVMe

Many mission systems run perception and tracking models that fit comfortably in 64 GB, so the larger module is not always needed. The MILBOARD-THR-T4000 fits the NVIDIA Jetson T4000 module to the Forecr MILBOARD-THR rugged carrier board.

The T4000 carries 64 GB of LPDDR5X for detection, tracking and sensor processing on the board. The MILBOARD-THR-T5000 fits the 128 GB T5000 for larger models. Cameras connect through a camera expansion slot with a 120-pin Samtec connector for Forecr’s optional GMSL2 or analogue video add-on boards, so GMSL2 is not on the carrier itself. Two 3G-SDI outputs are optional through the expansion slots.

Every interface on the MILBOARD-THR-T4000 sits on locking Samtec board-to-board connectors for the enclosure maker to break out: four 10GBASE-T Ethernet links, three USB 3.2 ports and two HDMI 2.1 outputs. The low-speed connector carries four isolated CAN FD ports, four isolated RS-232/422/485 ports and eight isolated 3.3 V digital I/O lines. Storage runs to three NVMe SSDs on M.2 Key-M 2280 slots at PCIe Gen5 x4, x2 and x1, and an expansion header adds PCIe x1, USB 2.0, I2C, I2S, SPI and GPIO.

Power comes in at 18-36 V DC on a 4-pin header, the 150 x 140 mm board is rated from -40 to +85 °C and 5 to 95 % non-condensing humidity, and it carries TPM 2.0, a 6-axis IMU, a temperature sensor and an RTC. Forecr lists Ubuntu 24.04 with JetPack 7.x, and supplies the board to defence companies and system integrators after an eligibility check. The MILBOARD-THR-T4000 suits defence, aerospace, marine and transport programmes where 64 GB covers the workload.
