Giada D614-120U Intel Core Series 1 Core 5 120U Digital Signage Player with Quad 4K HDMI

Multi-zone menu boards, corridor screens and small video walls need a player that can feed several displays from one box. The Giada D614-120U is the Core 5 120U build of the D614 series, a book-size digital signage player with four independent 4K HDMI outputs. The D614-100U has the six-core Core 3 100U in the same chassis, and the D614-U1-120U pairs the same processor with DDR5 memory and a 2.5GbE port.

The Intel Core 5 120U belongs to the Core Series 1 (Raptor Lake-U Refresh) range and has ten cores, 12 threads and 15 W base power. Intel Graphics supports DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0, and decodes 8K HEVC, VP9 and SCC content at 60 fps in hardware, which keeps playback off the CPU cores. Two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM slots take up to 96 GB, and an M-Key M.2 2280 slot with PCIe 4.0 x4 holds the SSD.

As standard the four HDMI ports each drive up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz; an optional factory build replaces two of them with a DP1.4 output at up to 7680 x 4320 for an 8K screen. Around the back and front sit a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, an RS232 port, a headset jack and one GbE port on Intel i219-LM. Wireless is optional, through an E-Key M.2 Wi-Fi card and a B-Key M.2 slot with SIM for a Quectel 4G or 5G module.

The D614-120U takes 19 V DC, runs from 0 °C to 45 °C at 10 to 90% humidity (non-condensing) and carries CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. Watchdog, auto power on and RTC wake scheduling are built in, TPM 2.0 is optional, and an optional VESA kit mounts it behind a screen. We supply it with memory, storage and a Windows 11 or Linux image installed and tested before it ships.
