Giada D77 Rockchip RK3588 Android Signage Player with Quad 4K HDMI and 6 TOPS NPU

Running four screens from one Android player keeps a video wall or menu board simpler to wire and manage than a stack of single-output boxes. The Giada D77 is an Android signage player on the Rockchip RK3588 with four HDMI outputs, three at 4K and one at 1080p, each with hardware EDID so a screen that is switched off does not upset the layout. The D77-I adds an AI-enabled Vision Enhancement licence, and the DM6-R drives four HDMI outputs on an x86 Ryzen Embedded processor.

The RK3588 pairs four Cortex-A76 and four Cortex-A55 cores at a 15 W TDP with a Mali-G610 MP4 GPU and a 6 TOPS NPU. On the D77 that runs Android 12 or Android 15 with 8 GB of onboard LPDDR4x and 128 GB of eMMC, and an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot takes an NVMe SSD for larger content libraries. Display output is three HDMI ports at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz and one at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, all with hardware EDID.

There is one Gigabit Ethernet port for content updates and remote management. An M.2 E-Key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 module with Bluetooth, and an M.2 B-Key slot with a SIM socket takes an optional 4G module, with a reserved antenna position for it. Two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, one with OTG, and two USB 2.0 ports cover touch overlays and USB media, one RS232 port on DB9 handles screen control, and mic-in and audio-out carry sound.

The D77 runs from 0 °C to 45 °C with 0.7 m/s airflow and up to 95% non-condensing humidity, from a 12 V DC adapter, with watchdog and auto power-on for unattended restarts. Giada lists CE, FCC Class B and UKCA, and an optional VESA kit mounts the player behind a display. We supply it with its Android image loaded and the player tested before it ships.
