Giada DF613-U1 Intel 13th Gen Core Fanless Digital Signage PCs with 8K and 2.5GbE

Fanless signage that refreshes large playlists over the network gains from faster memory and a faster wired link, without giving up passive cooling. The Giada DF613-U1 series keeps the finned fanless chassis, three-display output and serial I/O of the DF613 and changes the memory and network: DDR5-5200 up to 96 GB in place of DDR4-3200 up to 64 GB, and one 2.5GbE port plus one GbE port in place of two GbE ports. The outputs, serial ports and chassis are otherwise the same as the DF613, so the two series can share mounting, cabling and signage software across a mixed estate.

Two builds are offered on 13th Gen Intel Core (Raptor Lake-P) processors at 15 W base power. The DF613-U1-1315U has the Core i3-1315U with six cores, eight threads and Intel UHD Graphics, and the DF613-U1-1335U has the Core i5-1335U with ten cores, 12 threads and Iris Xe Graphics. Both support DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0 and decode 8K HEVC and VP9 content at 60 fps in hardware. An M-Key M.2 2280 slot with PCIe 4.0 x4 holds the SSD.

The DP1.4 output runs at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and the two HDMI 2.0 ports at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz. Networking is one 2.5GbE RJ45 port and one GbE RJ45 port, so content and control traffic can run on separate networks. I/O adds four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, one RS232 port, one RS232/422/485 port and separate mic-in and line-out jacks. An E-Key M.2 slot takes an optional Wi-Fi card, and a B-Key M.2 3042 slot with SIM takes an optional Quectel EM12 4G module.

The DF613-U1 series runs from a 19 V DC adapter and operates from 0 °C to 45 °C at up to 95% humidity (non-condensing), with CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. A watchdog timer, auto power on and RTC wake scheduling are built in, TPM 2.0 is optional, and an optional wall-mount kit fixes the PC in a cabinet or behind a display. Giada lists Windows 11 and Ubuntu for these fanless digital signage PCs. In practice these players suit retail, hospitality, corporate and transport signage indoors, wherever the screens run for long hours and are managed remotely. Both builds share the same chassis, ports and outputs, so a mixed estate can use one mounting and cabling plan.
