Giada DF613 Intel 13th Gen Core Fanless Media Players with 8K Output and Dual LAN

Media players in shop windows, kiosks, 8K showroom screens and closed AV cabinets last longer with no fan drawing in dust. The Giada DF613 series is a fanless media player in a finned metal chassis that cools passively. It drives three displays, one of them 8K over DP1.4, and adds dual LAN and two COM ports for kiosk hardware and screen control. Giada describes it as a Raptor Lake fanless signage player, and it shares its processors with the book-size D613, so the two share the same processor options and 8K hardware decode.

Two builds are offered on 13th Gen Intel Core (Raptor Lake-P) processors at 15 W base power. The DF613-1315U has the Core i3-1315U with six cores, eight threads and Intel UHD Graphics, and the DF613-1335U has the Core i5-1335U with ten cores, 12 threads and Iris Xe Graphics. Both support DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0 and decode 8K HEVC and VP9 content at 60 fps in hardware. Two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM slots take up to 64 GB, and an M-Key M.2 2280 slot holds a PCIe SSD.

The DP1.4 output runs at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and the two HDMI 2.0 ports at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz. Two GbE RJ45 ports run on Intel i219-LM and Realtek RTL8111H controllers. I/O adds four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, one RS232 port, one RS232/422/485 port and separate mic-in and line-out jacks. An E-Key M.2 slot takes an optional Wi-Fi card, and a B-Key M.2 3042 slot with SIM takes an optional Quectel EM12 4G module.

The DF613 series runs from a 19 V DC adapter and operates from 0 °C to 45 °C at up to 95% humidity (non-condensing), with CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. A watchdog timer, auto power on and RTC wake scheduling suit screens that run unattended, TPM 2.0 is optional, and an optional wall-mount kit fixes the player in a cabinet or behind a display. Giada lists Windows 11 and Ubuntu for these fanless media players. In practice these players suit retail, hospitality, corporate and transport signage indoors, wherever the screens run for long hours and are managed remotely. Both builds share the same chassis, ports and outputs, so a mixed estate can use one mounting and cabling plan.
