Giada DF614-120U Intel Core Series 1 Core 5 120U Fanless Digital Signage Player with 8K and 2x COM

Kiosks, wayfinding screens and signage in dusty or enclosed spaces benefit from a player with no fan and enough serial ports to talk to the hardware around it. The Giada DF614-120U is the Core 5 120U build of the DF614 series, a fanless player with an 8K DisplayPort, two 4K HDMI outputs and two COM ports. The DF614-100U has the six-core Core 3 100U in the same chassis, and the D614-120U is the fan-cooled book-size option with four HDMI outputs.

The Intel Core 5 120U is a Core Series 1 (Raptor Lake-U Refresh) processor with ten cores, 12 threads and 15 W base power. Intel Graphics supports DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0 and decodes 8K HEVC, VP9 and SCC content at 60 fps in hardware. Two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM slots take up to 96 GB, and an M.2 2242/2280 slot with PCIe 4.0 x4 holds the SSD.

The DisplayPort runs at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and the two HDMI ports at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz, for three displays. Two GbE RJ45 ports run on Intel i219-LM and Realtek RTL8111H. The rest of the I/O is four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, an RS232 port, an RS232/422/485 port and separate mic-in and line-out jacks. Wi-Fi through the E-Key M.2 slot and a Quectel EM05 4G module through the B-Key slot with SIM are both optional.

The DF614-120U takes 19 V DC, runs from 0 °C to 45 °C at up to 95% humidity (non-condensing) and carries CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. A watchdog timer, auto power on and RTC wake scheduling are built in, TPM 2.0 is optional, and an optional wall-mount kit fixes the player in place. We supply it with memory, storage and a Windows 11 or Linux image installed and tested before it ships.
