Giada DN84 Rockchip RK3576 Android Digital Signage Players with 6 TOPS NPU

Android signage apps have made it practical to run a screen network without a full PC behind every display, as long as the player is quiet, reliable and easy to mount. The Giada DN84 series is built for that: fanless Android digital signage players on the Rockchip RK3576, with two HDMI outputs, onboard Wi-Fi and a 6 TOPS NPU. Three versions share the same hardware, each with 4 or 8 GB of memory.

Every DN84 uses the RK3576 with four Cortex-A72 and four Cortex-A53 cores at a 6 W TDP, a Mali-G52 MC3 GPU and a 6 TOPS NPU. Display output is one HDMI port at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz and one at up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz. Storage is 64 GB of eMMC with 128 GB optional, plus an M.2 2242 SSD slot. Gigabit Ethernet, onboard dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, an M.2 slot for an optional 4G module, three USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, a USB 2.0 OTG port and an RS232 port cover most installations, and a lockable 12 V DC input keeps the power lead in place.

The standard DN84-4G and DN84-8G run Android 14 or Debian 12 with 4 or 8 GB of onboard memory. The DN84-I-4G and DN84-I-8G add an AI-enabled Vision Enhancement licence that uses the NPU to upscale video above 360p to 4K UHD, running Android 14. The DN84-A-4G and DN84-A-8G add a 4K HDMI input, so a live source such as a set-top box or laptop can be brought into the signage layout. All six builds share the chassis and connectors, so a mixed estate keeps one mounting kit and one cabling plan.

In practice the DN84 series suits retail screens, menu boards, hotel and corporate displays and public information signage, especially where the content is managed through an Android app. These fanless players run from 0 °C to 45 °C with up to 95% non-condensing humidity, Giada lists CE, FCC Class B and UKCA, and optional VESA and wall kits mount each DN84 behind a display. Watchdog and auto power-on bring a player back after a power cut without a site visit. We supply each DN84 with its Android or Linux image loaded and the player tested before it ships.
