Giada F108D Intel N-Series Booksize Signage Players with Triple Display

Multi-screen signage often ends up with one player per display, which multiplies the boxes to mount, power and manage. The Giada F108D series takes the other route: booksize signage players on Intel N-series processors with three 4K display outputs, so one player can run a three-screen menu board or a row of retail displays. Every F108D shares the same I/O, so the choice comes down to processor and cooling. That keeps a mixed estate of screens on one software image and one spares list.

All F108D builds use a four-core, four-thread Intel processor with integrated graphics driving one DisplayPort and two HDMI outputs at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Memory is one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM slot taking up to 16 GB, storage is an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD slot, and TPM 2.0 is optional. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 and four USB 2.0 ports, two RS232 ports on DB9 and M.2 slots for an optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module and an optional 4G modem cover most signage installations. Windows 11 and Ubuntu Linux are supported.

The F108D-N150 uses the Intel Processor N150 from the Twin Lake generation with Intel Graphics at a 6 W TDP, in a fanless build. The F108D-N100 uses the Alder Lake-N N100 with Intel UHD Graphics at 6 W, also fanless. The F108D-N97 uses the Alder Lake-N N97 with Intel UHD Graphics at a 12 W TDP and is fan-cooled, so it needs some airflow around it in a kiosk or cabinet. Because the I/O and memory are shared, a project can mix builds without changing cabling or the software image.

In practice the F108D series suits retail displays, menu boards, hotel and corporate screens and public information signage, where one player can run three screens and restart itself after a power cut through watchdog and auto power-on. These signage players run from 0 °C to 45 °C with up to 95% non-condensing humidity from a 19 V DC adapter, and Giada lists CE, FCC Class B and UKCA. An optional VESA kit mounts each F108D behind a display. We supply each F108D with memory, storage and a Windows 11 or Linux image installed and tested before it ships.
