Giada PC613 Intel 13th Gen Core OPS Computers with 8K Display Support

Large-format panels and video walls increasingly show 8K content, and the PC behind them has to drive that resolution without a tangle of external cabling. The Giada PC613 series is a range of 13th Gen Intel Core OPS computers built to the Open Pluggable Specification. Each unit slides into the OPS slot of an interactive flat panel or signage display and connects through an 80-pin JAE connector that carries power, display and USB signals. Because the PC sits inside the panel, it can usually be swapped later without taking the display down from the wall.

Every PC613 uses a 15 W Raptor Lake U-series processor, which keeps heat low enough for the enclosed slot while handling playback, browsers and collaboration software. Through the JAE connector it sends one DisplayPort output at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and one HDMI output at up to 4096 x 2160, with another HDMI port on the front. Two SO-DIMM slots take up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200, one M.2 M-Key socket holds a 2242 or 2280 SSD, and a watchdog timer and auto power-on help panels recover without a site visit.

The PC613 range splits by processor. The PC613-1315U uses the Core i3-1315U with six cores, eight threads and Intel UHD Graphics, a good fit for content playback and wayfinding. The PC613-1335U moves to the Core i5-1335U with 10 cores, 12 threads and Intel Iris Xe graphics, and the PC613-1355U uses the Core i7-1355U with the same core count and Iris Xe graphics for heavier multi-application work. All three share the same chassis, ports and JAE outputs, so the choice comes down to the content you plan to run.

In practice the PC613 series suits classroom and meeting-room panels, retail and corporate signage and 8K display walls. Each Giada unit has front USB Type-C 3.2 Gen2, two USB 3.2 Gen2, two USB 2.0, Intel i219LM Gigabit Ethernet and an M.2 E-Key socket for an optional Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6E card, with optional TPM 2.0. Power is 12 V to 19 V DC through the JAE connector or a DC jack, the rated range is 0 °C to 45 °C with humidity up to 95% non-condensing, and Giada lists CE and FCC Class B.
