Giada VM27 Intel Elkhart Lake Fanless Signage Players with Dual 4K Output
The Giada VM27 series is a family of fanless signage players built on Intel Elkhart Lake Celeron and Pentium processors, with 4 GB of onboard LPDDR4, 64 GB of onboard eMMC, HDMI and DisplayPort at 4K, four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, RS232 and gigabit LAN. The VM27 series suits receptions, waiting rooms, retail screens and menu board deployments where silent running matters.
- Fanless Elkhart Lake Design: Passive cooling with Celeron N6210, Celeron N6211 or Pentium N6415 processors at 6.5 W TDP for silent running.
- Onboard Memory and 64 GB eMMC: 4 GB of onboard LPDDR4-2666 and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, plus a full-size Mini-PCIe socket for mSATA.
- Dual 4K HDMI and DisplayPort: One HDMI and one DisplayPort, each up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, for two screens with independent content.
- USB 3.2 Gen2, RS232 and Audio: Four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, a DB9 RS232 port and separate microphone and audio-out jacks for peripherals.
- Remote Power On and Gigabit LAN: Remote power on, watchdog and auto power on, with gigabit Ethernet and an optional Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 card.

VM27 Description
A signage player mounted in a reception, classroom or waiting room sits close to people all day, so a fan that hums or gathers dust is a real drawback. The Giada VM27 series is a family of fanless signage players that avoids it, using Intel Elkhart Lake processors with passive cooling in a compact unit that mounts behind a screen with an optional VESA kit. With no fan there is no airflow drawing dust inside the unit, and nothing to replace over the life of the screen.
Every VM27 has 4 GB of onboard LPDDR4-2666 and 64 GB of onboard eMMC 5.1, with 8 GB of memory and 32 GB of eMMC offered as options, so each player is complete without fitted drives. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket takes an mSATA drive when content libraries grow. Intel UHD Graphics drive one HDMI and one DisplayPort output, each up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, a DB9 RS232 port and separate microphone and audio-out jacks cover touch, display control and sound.
The VM27 series has three builds, all at 6.5 W TDP. The VM27-N6210 uses the dual-core Intel Celeron N6210 at up to 2.6 GHz, suited to single-content screens. The VM27-N6211 uses the dual-core Celeron N6211 at up to 3.0 GHz. The VM27-N6415 uses the Intel Pentium N6415 with four cores at up to 3.0 GHz, the build to choose for two busy screens or a browser-based content application. All three share the same I/O, memory, eMMC and mounting options, so a mixed estate can use one player design and one operating system image across every screen.
Typical VM27 deployments include reception and lobby screens, waiting room information, retail and menu boards, and classroom displays. Networking is a Realtek gigabit Ethernet port, with an M.2 E-Key slot for an optional Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 card. Remote power on, watchdog, auto power on and a real-time clock support scheduled, unattended playback. The Giada VM27 fanless players run from a 19 V DC input and are rated from 0 °C to 45 °C at up to 95% humidity, non-condensing, with CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. Giada also lists Ubuntu support alongside Windows 11.

Official Giada UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Giada UK distributor, supplying the VM27 series with a Windows 11 or Linux image installed on the onboard eMMC, an optional Wi-Fi card and antennas fitted where the screen has no cable, and every player tested before it ships. Within the Giada range, the DK310 series uses fan-cooled Elkhart Lake Celeron and Pentium J-series processors at 10 W, and the N601 series moves to Core Ultra processors with an NPU and four-screen output for video walls. If you are unsure which VM27 processor suits your content, our team can help you choose a processor, plan mounting behind the screen and set up remote management.
