DK310 Description
Most signage screens play scheduled content all day and need a player that starts reliably, decodes 4K cleanly and can be managed remotely. Paying for more processing than that rarely helps. The Giada DK310 series is a family of digital signage boxes sized for that job, using four-core Intel Elkhart Lake processors in a compact, fan-cooled unit that mounts behind a screen with an optional VESA kit. The aim is a player that does the everyday signage job well, without paying for headroom the content will never use.
Every DK310 has 4 GB of onboard LPDDR4-2666, with 8 GB offered as an option, so there are no memory modules to work loose in transit. Storage uses a full-size Mini-PCIe socket for an mSATA drive, and onboard eMMC 5.1 is optional. Intel UHD Graphics drive one HDMI and one DisplayPort output, each up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, for two independent screens. Four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports at 10 Gbps, a DB9 RS232 port and a headset jack cover touch overlays, screen control and audio.
The DK310 series has two builds with the same I/O. The DK310-J6412 uses the Intel Celeron J6412 with four cores and four threads at 10 W TDP. The DK310-J6426 uses the Intel Pentium J6426, also with four cores and four threads at 10 W TDP. Both handle 4K playback with Intel UHD Graphics, so the choice usually comes down to project preference and availability. Each build carries the same 4K decode support, the same RS232 and USB layout, and the same optional VESA kit, so screens across a site can share one player design even where both processors are in use.
Typical DK310 deployments include restaurant menu boards, retail promotion screens, corporate information displays and wayfinding in public buildings. Networking is a Realtek gigabit Ethernet port, with an M.2 E-Key slot for an optional Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 card, and TPM is optional. Watchdog, auto power on and a real-time clock support unattended operation. The Giada DK310 signage boxes run from a 19 V DC input and are rated from 0 °C to 45 °C at up to 95% humidity, non-condensing, with CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. A Kensington lock slot on the front helps secure players in public spaces.
