Neousys Nuvo-8003 Intel 9th/8th Gen Core Fanless Expansion Box PC with 3 PCIe Slots

Modern frame grabbers, motion cards and network cards all use PCIe, and a control cabinet often has room for only a narrow computer. The Neousys Nuvo-8003 is the narrowest model in the Nuvo-8000 series, with three PCIe slots and no legacy PCI, in a fanless chassis for cabinets and machine frames. All the slots and connectors face the same side, so add-on cards and cabling can be reached from the front of a cabinet without removing the unit.

Inside the Nuvo-8003 is an LGA1151 socket for Intel 9th or 8th Gen Core i7, i5 or i3, Pentium G5400T or Celeron G4900T, with 65 W parts set to 35 W by default. The H310 chipset takes one DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM of up to 32 GB, and Intel UHD Graphics 630 drive two DVI-D outputs.

The Nuvo-8003 has a PCIe x16 Gen3 slot with all 16 lanes, a PCIe x8 Gen2 slot with four lanes and a PCIe x4 Gen2 slot with one lane. The panel also carries two GbE ports by Intel I219-LM and I210-IT controllers, four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, two DVI-D outputs, an RS-232/422/485 port, an RS-422/485 port and three three-wire RS-232 ports, a mic-in and speaker-out jack, two internal SATA bays for 2.5-inch drives and a full-size mSATA socket with SIM support.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC on a terminal block. The system runs from -25 °C to 60 °C, meets MIL-STD-810G for vibration and shock, and carries CE and FCC Class A. Wall mounting is standard, with DIN rail and rack mounting as options. The Nuvo-8023 adds two PCI slots in a wider chassis, and the Nuvo-8041 offers four.
