Cameras on a mining truck, a harvester or a port crane sit in the weather, and every injector or switch between them and the computer is another box to seal. The NUVO-9650AWP-PoE powers the cameras itself through sealed M12 connectors. It is the PoE+ build of the Neousys NUVO-9650AWP series of IP66 outdoor waterproof PCs, with a socketed Intel 14th/13th/12th Gen Core processor and built-in ignition control.
Processors run from the Celeron G6900E to the Core i9-14900 on the H610E chipset, with two DDR5-4800 SODIMMs up to 128 GB and dTPM 2.0. That leaves headroom for multi-camera recording, object detection or mapping on the NUVO-9650AWP-PoE. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe socket at PCIe Gen4 x4 plus two internal SATA ports for 2.5-inch drives.
Three 2.5GbE ports by Intel I226-IT and one GbE port by Intel I219-LM all supply 802.3at PoE+ from a 100 W total budget, on X-coded M12 connectors that resist vibration. The DC input moves to an L-coded M12 connector to carry the extra load. A waterproof Type-C port carries USB 3.2 Gen1 and DisplayPort at up to 4096 x 2304, VGA and two USB 2.0 ports use A-coded M12, and an isolated RS-232 port and an isolated RS-422/485 port connect vehicle instruments. Two mini PCIe sockets and an M.2 B key socket with a SIM slot take Wi-Fi, 4G or 5G modules. Without cameras to power, the NUVO-9650AWP is the standard build.
Power is 8 to 48 V DC with built-in ignition control. The NUVO-9650AWP-PoE runs from -25 °C to 70 °C with 35 W processors, or 65 W parts in 35 W mode, with MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock. The chassis measures 225 x 286 x 90 mm and weighs 5.25 kg.

The SEMIL-2000GC takes the same idea to IP69K with four M12 PoE+ ports and an NVIDIA L4 GPU. For an IP67 unit without PoE, the POC-766AWP is smaller and lighter. The NUVO-9531 offers PoE+ in an open chassis for indoor camera systems. Each of these takes Intel 14th/13th/12th Gen Core processors or a sealed equivalent, so software carries across.
