Neousys POC-766AWP Intel Core i3-N305 IP67 Computers with M12 Connectors

Small outdoor machines need a computer that survives rain, dust and hosing down, but many waterproof units are heavy and draw more power than a compact controller should. The POC-766AWP answers that with an IP67 rating in a 161.5 x 169 x 52.7 mm unit weighing 1.8 kg. Neousys built it from stainless steel and aluminium, with two cooling options: direct contact with a metal cabinet wall, or fanless cooling when mounted on its own. It is the new-generation model in the Neousys AWP family.

Every POC-766AWP runs the Intel Core i3-N305, eight efficient cores at 1.8 GHz base and 3.8 GHz burst within 15 W, with Intel UHD Graphics with 32 EUs. One DDR5-4800 SODIMM takes up to 16 GB, dTPM 2.0 is on board, and an M.2 2280 socket at PCIe Gen3 x4 takes an NVMe or SATA SSD. A full-size mini PCIe socket with a micro SIM slot accepts Wi-Fi or LTE. The front I/O is all M12: two 2.5GbE ports by Intel I226-IT on X-coded connectors, an isolated RS-232 and an isolated RS-422/485 port, and an isolated CAN 2.0B port with one isolated DI and two isolated DO on A-coded connectors.

Two models make up the series. The POC-766AWP is the sealed deployment unit, with its rear USB and HDMI covered so the IP67 rating applies in the field. The POC-766AWP-DEV is the developer kit, with two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports and an HDMI 1.4b output exposed at the rear for keyboard, screen and imaging work on the bench before units go out.

Both POC-766AWP models take 8 to 35 V DC with ignition power control through a 5-pin A-coded M12 connector. Neousys rates the series from -25 °C to 70 °C with MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock, CE and FCC Class A, and UL 62368-1 safety. Wall mounting is standard and a DIN-rail kit is optional. These IP67 computers suit tractors and implements, outdoor equipment, industrial vehicles and machine-side cabinets exposed to water and dust. Two thermal options mean the same unit can sit inside a metal cabinet, conducting heat into the wall, or stand alone on a machine with its own fins.
