Neousys Semil-2000 Intel 14th Gen Core IP69K Half-Rack Waterproof Industrial PCs

Washdown lines, open-pit vehicles and coastal sites destroy ordinary computers through water, salt and vibration long before the processor is a limit. The Neousys SEMIL-2000 series is a family of waterproof industrial PCs sealed to IP69K, which covers close-range, high-pressure and high-temperature water jets, in a 2U half-width 19″ enclosure of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminium. Every connector on the SEMIL-2000 is M12, so cables stay locked under shock and vibration.

Inside, Intel 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Core processors on the LGA1700 socket run at 35W or 65W, with up to 128 GB of DDR5-4800 in two SODIMM slots, UHD Graphics 770, vPro with AMT 16.0 and dTPM 2.0. Storage is an M.2 2280 Gen4 x4 NVMe socket plus two internal 2.5″ SATA bays with RAID 0 or 1, and three mini-PCIe sockets and an M.2 B key socket with dual SIM cover 5G or 4G and other add-on modules. Two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C ports with DisplayPort output, two USB 2.0 ports and two isolated CAN 2.0 ports with SocketCAN support complete the shared I/O.

The two models differ in networking, chipset and serial ports. The SEMIL-2007 uses the Q670E chipset with seven M12 X-coded Ethernet ports: two 10GbE, four 2.5GbE with 802.3at PoE+ and one GbE, plus four COM ports and an M.2 E key socket for Wi-Fi. The SEMIL-2008 uses the R680E chipset with ECC memory support and adds an eighth port, a further 2.5GbE, for eight M12 Ethernet ports in total, with two COM ports. Both models share a 100 W PoE+ budget across the four PoE+ ports.

In practice SEMIL-2000 waterproof industrial PCs go into food and beverage washdown areas, agricultural and mining machines, ports and outdoor cabinets. An 8 to 48V DC input with reverse polarity protection and built-in ignition control suits vehicle power, and fanless operation runs from -40°C to 70°C with 35W CPUs, or to 60°C at 65W. MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock testing, EN 50121 EMC and CE/FCC Class A apply across the SEMIL-2000 series, which wall-mounts as standard or fits a 19″ rack with the optional kit. A joint plate lets two units sit side by side in one rack width.
