Nexcom NDiS B338 Intel Celeron J6412 Elkhart Lake Digital Signage Player with 3x HDMI and 4x COM

Menu boards often come in threes, and a single player that drives all three screens keeps the cabinet simpler and the content in step. The NDiS B338 is a Nexcom Digital Signage Player built for that, with three HDMI 2.0 outputs, an Intel Celeron J6412 and a slim fanless case rated from -20 °C to 60 °C. For two screens at lower power, the NDiS B337 series uses a Celeron J3455.

The Intel Celeron J6412 is an Elkhart Lake processor at 10 W with Intel UHD graphics. Two DDR4 3200 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 32 GB, 16 GB per socket, and an M.2 2280 Key M socket with a PCIe Gen3 x4 link holds an NVMe SSD for the operating system and content. The NDiS B338 runs Windows 10.

The rear panel carries three HDMI 2.0 outputs, two GbE ports, a USB 3.1 port, five USB 2.0 ports, mic-in, line-out and the 12 V to 24 V DC input. The front adds four COM ports, COM1 RS232/422/485 and COM2 to COM4 RS232, with four antenna holes. An M.2 3042/3052 Key B socket takes an LTE or 5G module, a mini-PCIe slot takes Wi-Fi or LTE, and there is a SIM slot, eight GPIO channels, a smart fan connector and TPM 2.0 on the NDiS B338.

This Digital Signage Player runs fanless from -20 °C to 60 °C, so it suits drive-through housings, bus stops and information stands as well as indoor counters. A 60 W 12 V adapter is supplied, the case measures 224 x 150 x 38.8 mm with its wall-mount bracket, and the NDiS B338 carries CE, FCC Class A and LVD approval.
