Nexcom Neu-X1025 Intel Alder Lake-N DDR5 Fanless IoT Gateway PCs with Dual 2.5GbE and Dual 4K HDMI
The Nexcom Neu-X1025 series is a family of fanless IoT gateway PCs on Intel Alder Lake-N processors, the Intel Processor N50, N97 or Core i3-N305, with a DDR5-4800 socket, two 2.5GbE ports, dual 4K HDMI, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and a Mini PCIe slot with nano SIM for LTE or Wi-Fi 6/6E. The Neu-X1025 series suits IoT gateway, self-service kiosk, digital signage and smart city deployments.
- Intel Alder Lake-N Processors: A choice of the dual-core Intel Processor N50, quad-core N97 or 8-core Intel Core i3-N305, from 6 W to 15 W.
- DDR5-4800 Memory: One DDR5-4800 non-ECC SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB, the DDR5 alternative to the Neu-X102 design.
- Dual 2.5GbE: Two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports on Intel i226-V controllers, with wake on LAN, for separate uplink and device networks.
- Dual 4K HDMI: Two HDMI 1.4b outputs at up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz for two signage or kiosk screens from one system.
- LTE or Wi-Fi 6/6E on 12 V DC: A full-size Mini PCIe slot with a nano SIM slot takes an LTE or Wi-Fi 6/6E module, in a fanless 12 V case.

Neu-X1025 Description
Memory is easy to overlook when choosing a small gateway or signage player, until a project standardises on one module type for its whole estate or wants the newer generation for a deployment that will run for years. The Nexcom Neu-X1025 series is a family of fanless IoT gateway PCs that answers that with a DDR5 socket, built on Intel Alder Lake-N processors in a slim case with two 2.5GbE ports and dual 4K HDMI.
Apart from the memory, every Neu-X1025 shares its board and I/O with the DDR4 Neu-X102, so software images and cabling carry across both. One DDR5-4800 non-ECC SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB, an M.2 2242 Key M socket takes a PCIe 3.0 x1 or SATA SSD, and TPM 2.0 is on board. Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel i226-V controllers separate uplink and device networks, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports handle cameras, scanners or touch screens, and an RS-232/422/485 port on DB9 joins an internal RS-232 header and 4-in/4-out GPIO. A full-size Mini PCIe slot with a nano SIM slot takes an LTE or Wi-Fi 6/6E module.
The range splits by processor. The Neu-X1025-N50 uses the dual-core Intel Processor N50 at 6 W in the shorter case, for gateway software and simple kiosk or signage duties. The Neu-X1025-N97 uses the quad-core Intel Processor N97 at 12 W for video playback and heavier kiosk applications, and the Neu-X1025-N305 uses the 8-core Intel Core i3-N305 at 15 W for multi-zone signage and gateways handling several data streams; both sit in a longer finned case.
All three Neu-X1025 models run on 12 V DC from a 60 W adapter supplied in the box, with AT or ATX power modes, and operate from −5 °C to 50 °C ambient with 0.7 m/s airflow. Shock is rated to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-64 and IEC 60068-2-6, and Nexcom lists CE, FCC Class A, LVD and UL/cUL 62368-1. Windows 11 and Linux (Ubuntu 22.04 or later) are supported. Nexcom positions the Neu-X1025 series for IoT gateways, self-service kiosks, QSRs, bus stops, transit information signs and smart city displays.

Official NEXCOM UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Nexcom UK distributor, supplying the Neu-X1025 series configured for UK retail, transport and smart city projects: DDR5 memory and SSD fitted, an LTE or Wi-Fi 6/6E module and antennas installed where the site needs wireless, and Windows 11 or Linux loaded, then tested before it ships. If you are unsure whether the N50, N97 or Core i3-N305 suits your software, our team can run through the workload with you. Each system leaves with the SIM slot, antennas and power adapter checked, so it is ready to mount on a wall or desk and switch on.
Within the Nexcom range the Neu-X102 series is the same design with a DDR4 socket, and the Neu-X100 series is the earlier Apollo Lake gateway. The Neu-X1025 series sits among our industrial IoT gateways, our digital signage players and our fanless PCs.
