Premio JCO-6000-ORN NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Rugged Edge AI Computers with EDGEBoost I/O

Multi-camera robots and vehicles tend to change during a project, with another camera here, a PoE device there or a faster uplink for the fleet. The Premio JCO-6000-ORN series is built for that, pairing NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin with two EDGEBoost I/O brackets so these rugged edge AI computers can take extra LAN, PoE, USB or storage modules without a new design.

The JCO-6000-ORN design centres on the AGX Orin module. AGX Orin 64GB gives 275 TOPS from a 2048-core Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores, and AGX Orin 32GB gives 200 TOPS, or up to 241 TOPS in Super Mode, with LPDDR5 memory on the module. Storage combines 64 GB of eMMC, an M.2 NVMe SSD and a Micro SD socket. Fixed I/O covers GbE and 10GbE, two COM ports, two CAN ports, eight isolated digital inputs and eight outputs, USB and HDMI at 4K 60 Hz, and the EDGEBoost brackets take optional modules such as four GbE with PoE, two 10GbE, four USB 3.0 or an extra M.2 NVMe socket. Two optional quad-port Mini Fakra modules add up to eight GMSL2 cameras.

The current model is the JCO-6000-ORN-A-2EBIO, the A build with two EDGEBoost I/O brackets. It runs JetPack 6.2 on Ubuntu 22.04 or JetPack 7.2.1 on Ubuntu 24.04, takes optional 4G/5G and Wi-Fi modules through M.2 B key and E key sockets with two Micro SIM sockets, and accepts 48 to 110 V DC through an optional EDGEBoost bracket alongside the standard 9 to 48 V DC input. A USB-C console port is fitted, and an optional out-of-band management module installs through one EDGEBoost bracket.

In practice the JCO-6000-ORN series suits robotics, in-vehicle and intelligent transportation AI, and machine vision with many cameras. It runs fanless from -20 °C to 55 °C with AGX Orin 64GB and 0.6 m/s airflow, is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, and carries E-Mark, CE, FCC Class A and UL 62368-1 marks with EMC to EN 50121-3-2 (the EN 50155 EMC clause). Wall mounting is standard and DIN rail mounting optional, and the unit has passed the ISTA 2A package drop test.
