Sintrones VBOX-3650P-M12X Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra 5/7 Fanless AI Computer with 4x M12 PoE

Vehicle CCTV has two weak points: the cameras need power, and the connectors take a beating. The Sintrones VBOX-3650P-M12X handles both with four M12 X-coded LAN ports that supply PoE, so each camera runs over one screw-locked cable. It is the PoE and M12 build of the VBOX-3650 series, a fanless AI computer on Intel Core Ultra Series 3, available to order.

Core Ultra 7 366H and Core Ultra 5 336H are the two processor options, Panther Lake parts with 16 and 12 cores running up to 4.8 GHz and 4.6 GHz, with base power limited to 25 W. Each has Intel Graphics and an NPU, which can run detection or counting models on the camera streams on the computer itself. Two DDR5-7200 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 128 GB with In-Band ECC support, and a TPM 2.0 compliant with FIPS 140-3 secures the system.

PoE is 15.4 W per port with a 60 W total budget, across one Intel I226-LM 2.5GbE and three Intel I210-AT GbE ports. Footage can go to two 2.5″ SATA SSDs on a removable tray in RAID 0 or 1, with an M.2 NVMe socket for the system. The VBOX-3650P-M12X also has three RS-232/422/485 ports, two USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports, six digital inputs and four digital outputs, and two HDMI, one DisplayPort and one single-link DVI-D. Two M.2 Key B sockets with dual nano SIM, an M.2 Key E socket and two mini PCIe slots take optional 5G, Wi-Fi, GNSS or CAN modules. We supply it configured and tested, with SSDs, memory, the OS image and modems fitted.

Power is 9 to 60 V DC with ignition detection, standby control and over-current, over-voltage, surge and reverse polarity protection. The computer runs from -40 °C to 70 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow, holds MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock ratings, and lists CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and E-Mark, designed to EN 45545-2 (R25) requirements. The aluminium case is 250 x 160 x 55 mm and wall-mounts. Without PoE, the VBOX-3650-M12X keeps the M12 LAN, and the VBOX-3630P-M12X offers M12 PoE on 11th Gen Core.
