Sintrones VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ONX8 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB 10.1″ IP66 Rugged Panel PC with 4x M12 PoE

A reversing camera set, a forecourt or a loading bay often needs a few IP cameras and one screen in a harsh spot. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ONX8 is the PoE build of the Sintrones VPC-101RB2S series with the Jetson Orin NX 8GB: four PoE+ ports power the cameras, and the 10.1 inch display shows the results, in one sealed IP66 rugged panel PC. It is new from Sintrones and is available to order.

The Orin NX 8GB combines a six-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 1024-core NVIDIA GPU and 8 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 70 TOPS. That suits detection on a handful of camera streams with the operator interface on screen. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ONX8 runs NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 or above, pre-installed on an NVMe SSD in the M.2 2242 M key slot. For heavier models on the same PoE build, the VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ONX16 carries 16 GB.

The PoE function board gives five M12 X-coded network ports: one GbE port and four GbE PoE+ ports, replacing the 2.5GbE port found on the non-PoE builds. M8 connectors carry CAN FD, one RS-232/422/485 port, one RS-232 port and two USB 2.0 ports, and three digital inputs and four outputs handle machine signals. The 10.1″ screen is 1280 x 800 at 1,000 nits, optically bonded to projected capacitive touch with anti-glare and anti-smudge treatment. The sealed service bay holds a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB-C service port and the Nano SIM slot for an optional WWAN module.

Input power is 9 to 60 V DC, nominally 12, 24 or 48 V, with ignition detection and overcurrent, overvoltage, surge and reverse polarity protection. The unit is rated from -25 °C to 60 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow and 10 to 95% humidity, and tested to MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration. It has E-Mark compliance, CE, FCC Class A and UKCA, and mounts on VESA 100 x 100 at 260 x 179 x 75 mm. Optional Wi-Fi and GNSS fit the M.2 slots. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-ONX8 is the same module without PoE.
