Sintrones VPC-101RB2S NVIDIA Jetson Orin 10.1" IP66 Rugged Panel PCs with Optically Bonded Touchscreens

In a cab or at an outdoor control point, a separate AI box, PoE switch and display add cabling, mounting and points of failure. The Sintrones VPC-101RB2S series is a family of 10.1″ IP66 rugged panel PCs that puts the Jetson module, camera connections and an operator touchscreen into one sealed, fanless unit on a VESA 100 x 100 mount. Sintrones lists the series as coming soon, and all nine models are available to order.

Every VPC-101RB2S has a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 display at 1,000 nits with 800:1 contrast and 178 degree viewing, optically bonded to projected capacitive touch with anti-glare and anti-smudge treatment. M8 connectors carry CAN FD, one RS-232/422/485 port, one RS-232 port, two USB 2.0 ports and three digital inputs with four outputs, and a sealed service bay holds a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, a USB-C service port and the Nano SIM slot. M.2 slots take optional WWAN, Wi-Fi and GNSS, and NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 or above is pre-installed on an M.2 2242 NVMe SSD.

Without a function board, the VPC-101RB2S-OB-ONX16, VPC-101RB2S-OB-ONX8 and VPC-101RB2S-OB-ON8 have one 2.5GbE and one GbE port on M12 X-code. The PoE board builds, VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ONX16, VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ONX8 and VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ON8, have one GbE port and four GbE PoE+ ports on M12 for IP cameras. The GMSL builds, VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX16, VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX8 and VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ON8, keep the 2.5GbE and GbE ports and add four GMSL-2 inputs on FAKRA for oToBrite, e-con Systems and StereoLabs cameras. Each comes with the Orin NX 16GB at up to 100 TOPS, the Orin NX 8GB at up to 70 TOPS or the Orin Nano 8GB at up to 40 TOPS.

Typical deployments include driver displays with camera views on buses, trucks and work vehicles, operator terminals on mining and agricultural machines, and outdoor stations at ports and depots. The VPC-101RB2S runs on 9 to 60 V DC with ignition detection and overcurrent, overvoltage, surge and reverse polarity protection, and is rated from -25 °C to 60 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow and 10 to 95% humidity. It is tested to MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration and has E-Mark compliance, CE, FCC Class A and UKCA, in a 260 x 179 x 75 mm unit weighing 4.15 kg.
