Sintrones VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX16 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB 10.1″ IP66 Rugged Panel PC with GMSL-2 Camera Inputs

GMSL-2 cameras are widely used for surround and forward views on vehicles, and the VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX16 brings four of them to a screen the driver can use. It is the GMSL-2 build of the Sintrones VPC-101RB2S series on the Jetson Orin NX 16GB, combining camera capture, inference and a 10.1 inch display in one sealed IP66 rugged panel PC. The Orin NX 16GB carries an eight-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 1024-core NVIDIA GPU and 16 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 100 TOPS. That gives the most room in the range for four camera streams, higher-resolution sensors or stereo depth. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX16 runs NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 or above, with the BSP pre-installed on an NVMe SSD in the M.2 2242 M key slot. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX8 is the same build with 8 GB.

Four GMSL-2 inputs on FAKRA connectors come from the function board. Sintrones lists the oToBrite oToCAM2614ISP and oToCAM223P series and the e-con Systems STURDeCAM25, STURDeCAM31 and STURDeCAM81 at up to four cameras, and the StereoLabs ZED X Stereo and ZED X One 4K at up to two. One 2.5GbE and one GbE port use M12 X-code, and CAN FD, two serial ports and two USB 2.0 ports use M8, with three digital inputs and four outputs. The 10.1″ screen is 1280 x 800 at 1,000 nits with optical bonding. The service bay adds a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and Nano SIM slot.

Power is 9 to 60 V DC with ignition detection and overcurrent, overvoltage, surge and reverse polarity protection. The unit is rated from -25 °C to 60 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow, tested to MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration, and has E-Mark compliance, CE, FCC Class A and UKCA.
