Syslogic RPC/COMPACT A2N NVIDIA Jetson TX2 NX IP67 Waterproof Computers with M12 Connectors

Mud, washdown spray and constant vibration finish off computers that rely on vents and fans. Syslogic designed the RPC/COMPACT A2N series of waterproof computers for those conditions: a sealed aluminium housing rated IP67 to EN 60529, no moving parts, passive cooling and a pressure equalisation membrane, with M12 connectors for power, Ethernet and CAN. Syslogic lists autonomous mobile robots, agriculture, construction, transportation, off-highway vehicles and heavy industry as typical markets.

Inside sits an NVIDIA Jetson TX2 NX with a 256-core NVIDIA Pascal GPU and a 6-core CPU made up of a dual-core NVIDIA Denver 2 and a quad-core Arm Cortex-A57, giving 1.33 TFLOPs of AI performance. Memory is 4GB of 128-bit LPDDR4 soldered on board, with 16GB of eMMC 5.1 flash. An M.2 2280 Key M slot takes an NVMe SSD of up to 2TB, which Syslogic fits at the factory in 120GB to 960GB sizes, and a microSD socket sits behind the service cover. A hardware watchdog, temperature supervisor and battery-backed real time clock are standard, and the waterproof computers run Linux for Tegra.

Two builds are listed on our site, and the Syslogic datasheet names both in its ordering notes. The RPC/RSA2NH20-A102S is the build the datasheet details in full, with no wireless modules fitted. The RPC/RSA2NH20-B102S is the alternative build; Syslogic offers LTE, GNSS and Wi-Fi extensions for the family through two internal Mini PCIe sockets, and we confirm the fitted wireless options when quoting.

Shared I/O covers two Gigabit Ethernet ports on M12 x-coded connectors, one isolated CAN 2.0A/B port with CAN FD support on M12 a-coded, one USB 3.1 Type-A port and an HDMI 2.0 output, plus DisplayPort 1.4 and two USB 2.0 ports behind the service cover. RS-232, an extra M12 USB 2.0 port, an IMU and camera interfaces are available on request. The Syslogic RPC/COMPACT A2N series runs from -25 to 70 °C on a 9 to 45 V DC input with ignition control, idles at about 8.5 W at 24 V and weighs about 2.3 kg in a 245 x 66 x 165 mm housing, with an estimated MTBF of about 550,000 hours at 25 °C.
