Vecow ECX-3000-PoER AI Intel Raptor Lake Core i9-13900E AI Edge Computer with 4x PoE and Removable Drives

The ECX-3000-PoER AI combines four 2.5GbE PoE+ ports with two front-access 2.5" drive trays in the Vecow ECX-3000 AI series, running 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core with a Hailo-8 accelerator. An AI edge computer for in-vehicle and roadside vision that records to swappable 2.5" drives.

  • 4x 2.5GbE PoE+ Ports: Four IEEE 802.3at 2.5GbE PoE+ ports at 25.5 W each, plus one 2.5GbE and one GbE port, six LAN in total.
  • Two Front-Access 2.5″ Trays: Two front-access 2.5″ SSD or HDD trays on SATA III with software RAID 0 or 1 for local recording.
  • Hailo-8 AI Accelerator: Onboard Hailo-8 AI processor rated at up to 26 TOPS, running TensorFlow and ONNX models beside the Intel CPU.
  • 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core: Intel R680E chipset with Core i9 to i3 processors up to the 24-core i9-13900E, and up to 64 GB DDR4.
  • 9-50 V DC and -40 °C Fanless: Wide 9 V to 50 V DC input with 16-mode ignition control, rated fanless from -40 °C to 65 °C with 35 W CPUs.

ECX-3000-PoER AI Overview

In-vehicle and roadside vision systems need powered cameras and storage that can be swapped at the depot. The ECX-3000-PoER AI provides both, with four 2.5GbE PoE+ ports and two front-access 2.5″ drive trays. It is the PoE+ removable-storage AI edge computer in the Vecow ECX-3000 AI series, running a Hailo-8 accelerator beside 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core.

The ECX-3000-PoER AI runs 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors on the Intel R680E chipset, up to the 24-core Core i9-13900E at 65 W TDP, with two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMMs for up to 64 GB. The Hailo-8 AI processor adds up to 26 TOPS for TensorFlow and ONNX models, so detection and classification run on the accelerator while the CPU handles the application, and Intel UHD Graphics 770 drives up to four displays over two DisplayPort, DVI-I and HDMI.

Networking on the ECX-3000-PoER AI is six ports: four 2.5GbE IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports at 25.5 W each for cameras, one 2.5GbE port with TSN and one GbE port with iAMT. Two front-access 2.5″ SSD or HDD trays support software RAID 0 or 1. Six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four COM ports, 16 isolated DIO, a Mini PCIe socket, M.2 Key B and Key E sockets and two external SIM sockets cover field I/O and 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi modules.

The AI edge computer runs on 9 V to 50 V DC through a terminal block or 4-pin Mini-DIN, with 16-mode software ignition control for vehicle installs. Fanless operation is rated from -40 °C to 65 °C with 35 W processors and -40 °C to 45 °C with 65 W parts, backed by IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. The 260 x 175 x 79 mm Vecow chassis wall-mounts as standard, with DIN-rail and 2U rack kits optional. For M.2 trays instead, see the ECX-3000-PoES AI.
