Vecow ABP-3000 AI Intel 8th Gen Core Hailo-8 Ultra-Slim Edge AI PCs

Adding AI inference to an existing installation usually runs into the same limits: little space, no airflow and no room for a GPU card. The Vecow ABP-3000 AI series works within them, putting a Hailo-8 AI accelerator inside a 32.6 mm, cableless, fanless chassis beside an 8th Gen Intel Core processor. The result is an edge AI PC that fits behind a panel or under a seat, and it keeps the bill of materials short: no separate accelerator card, riser or extra power supply to fit and maintain.

Both ABP-3000 AI models share the same design. The onboard Hailo-8 is rated at up to 26 TOPS and runs TensorFlow and ONNX models, leaving the Whiskey Lake processor and up to 64 GB of DDR4 to run the application. Four Intel I350 GbE ports, two with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and power on/off control, four COM ports with 8 kV ESD protection, 16 isolated DIO and four USB 3.1 ports handle cameras and field devices, and two DisplayPort outputs drive local screens. Storage uses an M.2 Key B socket, with Mini PCIe, M.2 Key E and two internal SIM sockets for 5G, 4G or Wi-Fi.

The two models differ only by processor. The ABP-3000 AI-8665U carries the Intel Core i7-8665UE for systems that do heavier decoding, tracking or logging around each inference. The ABP-3000 AI-8145U carries the Intel Core i3-8145UE, leaving the model to the Hailo-8 and keeping power and heat low for in-vehicle and kiosk installs. Both share the same chassis, accelerator and I/O, so a project can standardise on one installation and choose the processor per site without changing cabling or mounting.

ABP-3000 AI edge AI PCs typically serve in-vehicle analytics, smart retail, kiosks and machine vision. A 9 V to 50 V DC input on a Mini-DIN connector with 16-mode ignition control suits vehicle and cabinet power, and the series is rated fanless from 0 °C to 60 °C, with IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. The 1.4 kg unit wall-mounts, and TPM 2.0 supports secure boot for units that sit on public or shared networks.
