Vecow PBC-2000 Intel Amston Lake Atom x7211RE Small Form Factor Industrial PC with Dual 2.5GbE, Optional 5G and -40 to 70 °C

Some jobs need a pair of network ports, a couple of serial lines and a cellular link more than they need processing headroom: a data logger in a trackside cabinet, a ground link for UAV data, a kiosk controller or a small control node on a machine. The Vecow PBC-2000 is a small form factor industrial PC built for that kind of installation, with a fanless design rated from -40 °C to 70 °C and a dual-core Intel Atom x7211RE processor.

The Atom x7211RE is an Amston Lake part with Intel UHD Graphics, and in the PBC-2000 it pairs with one DDR5 4800 MHz SO-DIMM of up to 16 GB with in-band ECC. That suits protocol conversion, data collection, light HMI and gateway software under Windows 11 or Linux, and Vecow lists support for OpenVINO based AI accelerators where a small inference model needs to run at the edge.

I/O is two 2.5GbE ports on Realtek RTL8125BI-CG controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two RS-232/422/485 COM ports and an HDMI 2.0 output at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. The M.2 B key socket takes either NVMe storage or an optional 5G or 4G module served by the external nano SIM socket, an M.2 E key socket takes an optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and a SATA III port adds a second storage option. Watchdog, Wake on LAN and PXE boot help when units are spread across many sites.

Power is 12 V DC on a two-pin terminal block. The PBC-2000 runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C with airflow, is rated for 50 G shock to IEC 60068-2-27 and 5 Grms vibration to IEC 60068-2-64, carries CE, FCC and ICES marks and is designed to EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 requirements for rail installations. It mounts on a wall bracket, with an optional DIN rail kit. For more displays and wide-range DC, the ABP-4000-1345UE drives four HDMI outputs on 9 to 55 V DC, and the VCM-2000A takes socketed Intel Core processors with four LAN ports.
