Vecow RAC-1000-IND NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial IP67 Waterproof Computer with 8x GMSL, M12 I/O and Wide Temperature

Some projects specify the industrial version of a module from the start, because the machine it goes into is expected to stay in service for many years. The Vecow RAC-1000-IND is the build of the RAC-1000 series for that case: an IP67 waterproof computer on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial with 64 GB of memory and eight GMSL camera inputs, for agricultural, construction and mobile robot machinery.

The AGX Orin Industrial module has a 12-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 2048-core Ampere GPU with 64 Tensor Cores, two NVDLA engines and 64 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 248 TOPS. Its compute sits close to the standard 64GB module, so models developed on either can usually move across with little change. We supply the RAC-1000-IND with JetPack 6 on Ubuntu 22.04 and the storage fitted, configured and tested before it ships.

Eight FAKRA-Z connectors accept GMSL1 or GMSL2 cameras. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports use M12 X-coded connectors, two isolated CAN FD ports share an M12 A-coded connector, and two M12 COM ports handle RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. Two sealed USB 3.1 Type-A ports and a sealed HDMI 2.1 output at up to 4K at 60 Hz complete the panel. Inside are two M.2 Key M sockets, 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 and M.2 Key B and Key E sockets, with a PCIe Gen 3 x8 slot by request.

The RAC-1000-IND runs on 9 to 50 V DC through a K-coded M12 connector, with 16-mode software ignition control. Vecow rates it from -25 °C to 70 °C in 30 W mode and to 55 °C in 50 W mode, both with 0.63 m/s airflow, and lists MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing with EN 50155 compliance. The RAC-1000-R64 uses the standard 64GB module, and the RAC-1100-IND replaces the cameras with four PoE+ ports.
