Vecow RAC-1000-R32 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB IP67 Waterproof Computer with 8x GMSL, Isolated CAN FD and -25 to 70 °C

Agricultural and construction machinery is washed down, left out in the rain and driven over rough ground, and the computer behind its cameras has to take the same treatment. The Vecow RAC-1000-R32 is an IP67 waterproof computer for that work, on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB with eight GMSL camera inputs. Within the RAC-1000 series, it is the 32GB build for camera-led machines.

The module has an eight-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 1792-core Ampere GPU with 56 Tensor Cores, two NVDLA engines and 32 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 200 TOPS. That suits surround-view detection, row following or obstacle avoidance across several cameras at once. We supply the RAC-1000-R32 with JetPack 6 on Ubuntu 22.04 and the storage fitted, configured and tested before it ships.

Eight FAKRA-Z connectors on the rear take GMSL1 or GMSL2 automotive cameras. The rest of the I/O is sealed: two Gigabit Ethernet ports on M12 X-coded connectors, two isolated CAN FD ports on one M12 A-coded connector, two M12 COM ports for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, two sealed USB 3.1 Type-A ports and a sealed HDMI 2.1 output at up to 4K at 60 Hz. Storage is two M.2 Key M sockets and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, with M.2 Key B and Key E sockets inside. A PCIe Gen 3 x8 slot for 10GigE, PoE or USB cards is available by request.

Power is 9 to 50 V DC on a K-coded M12 connector, with 16-mode software ignition control for vehicle installations. Vecow rates the fanless unit from -25 °C to 70 °C in 30 W mode and to 55 °C in 50 W mode, both with 0.63 m/s airflow, and lists MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 compliance. The RAC-1000-R64 moves to 64 GB, and the RAC-1100-R32 swaps the cameras for four PoE+ ports.
