Vecow VCM-1100F Intel Core i9-13900E Compact Embedded Computer with 6x GbE and 8x USB3

Machine stations often end up with a PC, a PoE switch and a DIO module wired together in the same cabinet. The VCM-1100F folds those into one unit, with four GbE PoE+ ports, 28 isolated DIO and eight USB 3.2 ports. It is the I/O-rich compact embedded computer in the Vecow VCM-1000 series, running 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core in a 67 mm fan-cooled chassis.

The VCM-1100F takes 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors on the Intel H610E chipset, up to the 24-core Core i9-13900E at 65 W TDP, with two DDR5 4800 MHz SO-DIMMs for up to 64 GB. Intel UHD Graphics 770 drives a VGA and a DVI-D output at up to 1920 x 1200, which suits HMI and signage screens, and Intel TCC and TPM 2.0 support deterministic tasks and secure boot. Windows 11, Windows 10 and Linux are supported.

Networking on the VCM-1100F is six GbE ports: an Intel I219LM, an Intel I210 and four IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports on an Intel I350 at 25.5 W each. Eight external USB 3.2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two internal USB 2.0 headers, two COM ports and 28 isolated DIO cover cameras, scanners and machine signals. Two internal 2.5″ SSD or HDD brackets on SATA III sit beside an M.2 Key M socket, and M.2 Key B and Key E sockets with an internal SIM take 4G or Wi-Fi.

The compact embedded computer runs on 24 V DC through a terminal block, with 16-mode software ignition control and a remote switch. With its internal fan, Vecow rates it from -25 °C to 75 °C with 35 W processors and -25 °C to 60 °C with 65 W parts, with IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and CE and FCC approvals.
