Shelf edges, counters and point-of-sale fixtures often leave a long, narrow space where a standard 16:9 screen would waste most of its area. The SH164N is a ViviSign stretched display built for that shape: a 16.4 inch bar-type LCD at 1366 x 238, with 500 nits and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.
The panel is a native stretched LCD, made as an uncut bar-type panel rather than a standard screen cut down to size, and it is rated for 24/7 operation. It offers 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, so content stays legible to shoppers walking past at an angle. An IPS panel and an anti-glare surface keep content clear under shop lighting. ViviSign names point of sale and shelf displays as the intended uses.
The SH164N comes in two builds. As a monitor it takes two HDMI inputs and shows content from an external player or PC. The alternative build adds an Android 8.1 player with a quad-core Cortex-A35 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage, LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so content can run from the display itself. Within the same range, the SH123N offers 1920 x 720 at 12.3 inch and the SH165N offers 1280 x 631 at 16.5 inch.
Power comes from an external 12 V DC adapter, drawing 25 W. The SH164N operates from 0 °C to 40 °C at 10 to 80% humidity, measures 443.5 x 105.4 x 41 mm and weighs 3 kg, and ships with a mounting bracket. Content is shown at the panel’s native 1366 x 238, so artwork should be designed for that canvas rather than scaled from a 16:9 layout.
