Shelf edges, counters and point-of-sale fixtures often leave a long, narrow space where a standard 16:9 screen would waste most of its area. The SH165N is a ViviSign stretched display built for that shape: a 16.5 inch bar-type LCD at 1280 x 631, with 300 nits and a 1200:1 contrast ratio.
The panel is a native stretched LCD, made as an uncut bar-type panel rather than a standard screen cut down to size, and it is rated for 24/7 operation. It offers 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, so content stays legible to shoppers walking past at an angle. ViviSign names point of sale and shelf displays as the intended uses.
The SH165N comes in two builds. As a monitor it takes two HDMI inputs and shows content from an external player or PC. The alternative build adds an Android 8.1 player with a quad-core Cortex-A35 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage, LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so content can run from the display itself. Within the same range, the SH164N offers 1366 x 238 at 16.4 inch and the SH212N offers 1920 x 360 at 21.2 inch.
Power comes from an external 12 V DC adapter, drawing 35 W. The SH165N operates from 0 °C to 40 °C at 10 to 80% humidity, measures 398 x 208 x 47 mm and weighs 3 kg, and ships with a mounting bracket. Content is shown at the panel’s native 1280 x 631, so artwork should be designed for that canvas rather than scaled from a 16:9 layout.
