Winmate FM10E 10.4″ Vehicle Mount Computer with Intel Atom x6000E or x7000RE and MIL-STD-810H

A vehicle terminal that lifts out of its dock can go with the driver to check a pallet, read a label or finish a delivery, then drop back in to charge and connect. The FM10E is Winmate’s 10.4 inch vehicle mount computer built on that idea: a rugged tablet that locks into a vehicle dock, with an Intel Atom x6413E as standard. Winmate names warehouse logistics, fleet management and forklift operations as its intended uses.

The Atom x6413E at 1.5 GHz, up to 3 GHz, is standard, with the x6425E, x7433RE and x7835RE as options. Memory is 4 GB, up to 16 GB, and storage is 128 GB, up to 512 GB. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC is available. The 10.4″ 1024 x 768 PCAP display runs at 400 nits, with 800 nits as an option, 1200:1 contrast and 88 degree viewing angles, and works with hands, a stylus or gloves. Six programmable function buttons sit beside the screen, and the front panel is field replaceable to reduce service costs. That suits the FM10E to WMS clients, terminal emulation and route apps.

The tablet has a USB Type-C port, microSD and a dual nano-SIM slot, and the dock adds Gigabit LAN, two USB 2.0 ports through a DB9, two COM ports, two speakers and a CANBus or audio port. WLAN, Bluetooth and GPS/AGPS are built in, with 4G/LTE as an option. Within the Winmate range the FM10E-V is a fixed 10.4 inch IP65 vehicle mount computer with an Atom x6425E, and the FM10Q9 is a 10.4″ Android tablet with a Qualcomm QCS6490.

The dock takes 10 to 60 V DC with ignition control, and a UPS battery covers at least 30 minutes away from the vehicle supply. The unit is rated IP65 and IK07, is compliant with MIL-STD-810H Methods 516.8 and 514.8, and runs from -30 to 60 °C. The aluminium alloy dock fits RAM or VESA mounts. Winmate lists CE, FCC, IC (ICES-003), UL60950-1, EN60950-1 and PTCRB. We supply the FM10E configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
