Winmate FM10MG 10.4″ Android Vehicle Mount Computer with MediaTek Genio 510 and MIL-STD-810H

Fleets that already run Android scanners and handhelds often want the vehicle terminal on the same apps, and a tablet that lifts out of its dock can double as a handheld for checks away from the truck. The FM10MG is Winmate’s 10.4 inch Android vehicle mount computer for that approach, a rugged tablet with a MediaTek Genio 510 that locks into a vehicle dock. Winmate names warehouse logistics, fleet management and forklift operations as its intended uses.

The MediaTek Genio 510 pairs two Arm Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz with 4 GB of memory, 64 GB of storage and a microSD slot. Android 13 is standard, with Linux Yocto 5.10 with Qt 5.15 or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 as options. The 10.4″ 1024 x 768 PCAP display runs at 400 nits, with 800 nits as an option, 1200:1 contrast and 88 degree viewing angles, and works with hands, a stylus or gloves. Six programmable function buttons sit beside the screen, and the front panel is field replaceable to reduce service costs. That suits the FM10MG to picking, delivery and inspection apps.

The tablet has a USB 2.0 Type-C OTG port, microSD and a dual nano-SIM slot, and the dock adds Gigabit LAN, two USB 2.0 ports through a DB9, two COM ports, two speakers and a CANBus or audio port. WLAN with internal or external antennas and Bluetooth are built in, with 4G/LTE and GPS/GLONASS as options. Within the Winmate range the FM10MG-V is a fixed 10.4 inch IP65 terminal with the Genio 510, and the FM10Q9 is a 10.4″ Android tablet with a Qualcomm QCS6490 and Android 15.

The dock takes 10 to 60 V DC with ignition control, and a UPS battery covers at least 30 minutes away from the vehicle supply. The unit is rated IP65 and IK07, is compliant with MIL-STD-810H Methods 516.8 and 514.8, and runs from -30 to 60 °C. The aluminium alloy dock fits RAM or VESA mounts. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the FM10MG configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
