Winmate M900EK 8″ Industrial Tablet with Intel Elkhart Lake Celeron N6211 and IP65

Plenty of mobile jobs need a Windows tablet that a technician can hold in one hand all day, scan or photograph an asset with and then drop back into a dock. The M900EK is Winmate’s 8″ rugged Windows tablet for field service, inspection and handheld data collection, with an Intel Celeron N6211 in an IP65 housing.

The Celeron N6211 runs at 1.2 GHz with turbo up to 2.6 GHz, and an Intel Pentium N6415 is an option. Memory is 4 GB as standard with 8 GB optional, and storage is a 128 GB SSD with 256 GB and 512 GB options plus a micro SDXC slot. TPM 2.0 is on board and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC is installed. The 8 inch 1280 x 800 screen has projected capacitive multi-touch, 800 nits, 1500:1 contrast and optical bonding to cut reflections.

Connections are one USB 3.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.0 Type-C port with 20 V Power Delivery input, a 15-pin D-sub expansion port, an audio combo jack and a 19-pin docking connector. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/GLONASS are built in, a micro SIM slot serves optional 4G LTE, and there are 2MP front and 8MP autofocus rear cameras. A 1D/2D barcode reader, HF or LF RFID and a smart card reader are optional. Within the Winmate range the M900EKN replaces the D-sub port with an RJ45 Gigabit LAN port, and the M900AD is the 8 inch model with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 and IP66.

The M900EK is tested to MIL-STD-810H methods for shock, vibration and a 5 ft drop, and operates from -20 °C to 60 °C. A 4200 mAh battery gives around six hours by Winmate’s figure, the power rating is 20 V DC and an AC adapter is supplied. Desk and vehicle docks, a vehicle cradle and a hand strap are optional, and it carries CE and FCC marks.
